Rob, sorry for your loss

That's a real bummer that your fishes died. I know how hard you tried to save them!

All part of being an Aquaist I guess.
I know now that Tangs can be bad news. Sad

All part of the learning curve.

Ooh, sorry to hear this. What do you plan to "watch" next? Wink I am sure you did your best to save them.

Ironically I picked up a fish related item yesterday. I won't be using it for fish, though it will be used in an aquarium. It's a two gang valve thingy I hope to cut down the bubble flow on a bubble wall that I have. I am hoping to photograph bubbles after my wife's sister leaves next week.

See? I turn everything into something photographic... I may need help at some point. lol Very Happy

I only lost two fish Jeff, the new Copperband Butterfly and a Bristletooth Tang.
Introducing new fish into the tank can be risky as established fish can be territorial.
The Butterfly fish was pecked almost to death overnight so i took the decision to remove the bully (The bully is reletively new and the tank became unhappy when it was introduced)
Catching the Tang turned into a mammoth task, unfortunately the stress to the bully after 3 hrs ended up killing it.
I'm still learning but i don't know if I could have done any better had I done things differently, the Tang had to be removed no matter what.

Meanwhile the bubbles shoot sounds interesting. Ever thought of getting inside one of those HUGE bubbles with camera?

That I haven't thought of but would love to try it. I am slo going to try and do a bubble machine shoot. I have a small machine that blows soap bubbles, should be intersting if I gell the flashes different colors.

Didn't think of that but will also give that a try. Should be able to do something with it tomorrow.

I've just been having fun taking pics of my aquarium from above. The ripples coupled with under/over exposure has produced some lovely pics. I'll post them of facebook as soon as i get 5 mins. Ok, an hour, but I will post some.
I'll post some pics on here as soon as I suss out how. Very Happy
